Yeesh, it has been a rough couple of days. In an effort to get the kids to sleep later on mornings when there is no school I have tried to let them stay up later but it doesn't seem to be working lately. No matter what they are up at 7:30 and ready to go, when all I want to do is lay in a self-pitying puddle on the couch :). I honestly would prefer it if I could go to bed earlier but that is just not going to happen, at least not until mid-December when my job situation changes. Boy will that be a happy day, I would so love to get more than 6 hours a sleep.
I really need to get some pictures of the new house and Samantha's first day of school up, I am so behind on everything! Actually, before I get new pictures of the house I need to clean it first, as if I would ever have time for that. I consider myself lucky when I get the bathrooms cleaned and we have dishes to eat off of and clean sheets. Only 2 more months, I can make it, I know I can. It will be worth, that is just what I have to tell myself. Then I will have a nice break for Thanksgiving and get crackin again for Christmas. I heart Christmas!

Getting gazelle intense
In an effort to get "gazelle," as Dave Ramsey would say, I am currently working 2 jobs, one full time and one part time. Let me tell you, it SUCKS. I swear all I do is work, clean, and I am worn out! However I am happy to be making decent money and after I pay off some piddly credit cards and get the car situation taken care of (we need a bigger car and no payment really) we will be sitting pretty, well on the way to having 3 months expenses in the bank for a rainy day. Then we can start saving for a house again. That will be a glorious day.
Now we aren't as gazelle as some people, but we also don't have $50,000 in debt. We are keeping the cable and I will still be feeding my sick Gymboree habit in an occasional basis, but I did scale back the grocery budget and the nice thing about living in such a small town is our gas bill is almost nonexistent. I haven't' gotten gas in 2 weeks and I have only used 1/4 of a tank! So awesome. Now if the Chik-fil-A down the street would blow away in a strong wind and stop tempting me with their delicious chicken sandwiches!

I am alive...
although I thought I wasn't going to make it for a bit. I have been sick as a dog the last couple of days, yesterday I could barely get out of bed, let alone work. Thank goodness Samantha didn't have school. Still feeling kind of cruddy but definitely better.
As much as I love summer I am so ready for fall this year. I can't wait for the leaves to fall, pumpkin pie, Halloween, etc. This has been a crazy year so far and I am just ready for it to calm down some.
